Terrorism

The proposition of eradicating terrorism is perhaps one of the most enduring tasks that mankind is facing and will have to face in the future.

As per me, the following things can make a difference if given proper leadership:

- Enough provocation will trigger anyone to be impetuous and fight back angrily. So the key is to behave firmly to deter provocation. It generally takes two to tango, even if one party didn’t do the thing intentionally or with bad intensions for the infraction, continuous efforts have to be made to maintain peace as even the most intransigent people generally have a short memory whether it is in favour or against any entity on the planet.

- Media supporting the terrorists has been over the time one of the main reasons for the expansion of terrorism. Instead of impugn brave, aboveboard nature that they are supposed to possess; traditionally it is infested with a bunch of losers who would do anything to further their careers. Whatever they write is meant to score points for the big guns in their country and in the western world in expense of their own lot. These people won’t hesitate in doing absolutely anything if it means a foreign jaunt or an award in some obscure corner. There should be more transparency and responsibility from their side if this nuisance has to be curbed.

- Special efforts should be made to improve financial and educational condition of the affected state so that ingenuous teenagers don’t at least become terrorists because of their financial status.

- A stress free lifestyle will never let barbaric tendencies creep up in inchoate as well as old minds. Government should popularize ancient practices like Yoga. Special grants should be given to NGO’s for this purpose.

- I know this dosen’t relate much to the topic but it associates with the prevention of the same. In my opinion every law, rule, guideline should be same for every section of the society. Rules should not interdict for different caste, creed, religion, whether one’s an impiety or whatever. If there would not be much distinction between sections of the society, consequently they would feel much more like each other and their love for each other would increase too.
But if the favourism continues, the favoured sections may remain happy and increase the vote bank of some specific people but it would not be long before most immaculate people who have been on the wrong side of nepotism start feeling oppressed, revolt and become terrorists too because of frustration from no seats, no jobs, no money and no life.
